Our children's choir currently has about a half dozen delightful young people who rehearse after church each week and perform about once a month.
The adult choir leads congregational singing and performs an offertory anthem most Sundays throughout the school year as well as at several special services and on feast days. The group has grown both in numbers and in level of literature in recent years and currently includes 15-17 singers of all ability levels. A highlight this year was the performance of the Vivaldi “Gloria” in December. The choir also enjoys a number of social events each year. Choir members have also participated in outreach performances at Heatherwood Assisted Living Apts., Trinity ELC and Christ Church-Rice Lake. If you like to sing, we can find a robe and folder for you!
The Cathedral is blessed with some of the finest keyboard instruments in the area. The Cathedral Organ is 60 years old, dedicated at Eastertide in 1950, but in recent years has seen state of the art upgrades. It is a three manual Moller instrument of twenty-four ranks, one of the largest and most versatile pipe organs in the city. The Chapel Organ is a delightful little reed instrument that was renovated several years ago through a generous donation and continues to serve for chapel services.
