Prayer shawls will be blessed by clergy, and them members and visitors are invited to take a shawl after the service if you know someone in need of comfort and strength, or celebrating a special occasion. Please write the recipient's name in our journal so that we can include them in our prayers. The Prayer Shawl Ministry's love and prayers are woven into each shawl as they are created. We give our shawls as a gift of love and concern for those who need solace, for thanksgiving, or as a blessing of celebration. Luke 3:11 Project Donation: The next Prayer Shawl Ministry meeting is Tuesday, February 21 at 6:00 PM. We are a not only a parish ministry, but also a community ministry. We invite and encourage new members to join us. If you’re unable to attend our monthly meetings you can drop your shawls off in the parish office or we can make arrangements to get them from you. Please join us! The new security system is up and running! The new security system has been installed and we are up and running. This means that the cards that have previously been issued will not allow you to access the building until they have been updated in the new system. As we update the cards; we will be requiring hard keys be returned for the external doors and any that are no longer required for your specific involvement in the buildings. This will allow us to utilize this security system to its fullest potential in keeping the buildings secure and everyone safe. Please contact the office to schedule a time to have your card key updated. Thank you so much for your generosity in making it financially feasible for us to have this system installed; for your cooperation in turning in old, hard keys; and for your patience as we update card keys! Community Table March 17 ~ volunteers & milk neededWe still need 2-3 gallons of milk Saturday, March 17th, help is needed between 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. with 2 shifts to choose from. You can sign up to stay for both shifts, or choose the one that works best for you. (2 volunteers) Call the office (715.835.3734) to help with: • Donate plastic of 3 - 6 cases bottles of water or 2 - 3 gallons of milk on our service date. Sunday Morning Greeters NeededWe are in need greeters for the 9:00 Sunday service. Greeters usually work in teams of two, welcoming people to the Cathedral, answering questions they may have and providing them with a service leaflet. Greeters also do a count of people in attendance and assist with the flow during communion. If you are interested in being a part of this important ministry at Christ Church Cathedral, please contact Christa at the church office or Ellen Allison 715 403-1030 This email address is being protected from spambots. If you have anyone that is interested in participating, we are working on a bake sale fundraiser (June 5th) to help offset the cost and will also have scholarships available. The schedule of camp is you get up, if you don't want to go to the early adventure, you sleep in. Then after awhile you get up for breakfast. Then you go on your morning adventure, after that you go back for lunch and dessert! Then we get free time. Later we have dinner and dessert. Then the adults do a skit. Finally you have jaw time and that's the end of the day. Let's get to the activities: water wars is a kayaking game where you have to find the other teams ball. There's a red team and a blue team, the kayak will have a colored buoy depending on the team you are on. If someone pulls your buoy you have to go to an adult and get it on. If you have the ball and someone pulls your buoy then you drop the ball in the water, no re-hiding. There's another game in the dead of night where you put on your darkest clothing, you have to hide from the people with flashlights and get tickets. If you get caught you give them your tickets. If you don't have any, they punish you. Praising and worshipping is important there. The adult Izzy did grace Jurassic World themed. Because she loves dinos. We would all sing worship songs and dance and do grace before every meal, and we all had fun!

Kwik Trip Cards FundraiserWe are still partnering with Kwik Trip Fundraising Card Program! As of November 1st, the program is changing slightly. They are now offering a new Grocery Only/In-Store card that we purchase at a 15% base discount. This card can be used toward in-store products. Items not eligible to be purchased with the new card offering include fuel, tobacco, alcohol, gift cars, lottery/lotto, and stamps. This allows us to take advantage of the discount at the point of purchase instead of having to wait for a rebate on grocery items. Regular and Fuel-Only gift cards are still available. We purchase these at a 5% base discount. This is a great way to support the church while purchasing the gas and/or groceries you were going to buy anyway. These cards make great gifts for your friends & family, service providers or employees! Charity Golf Outing benefitting Bolton Refuge House, Inc ~ Sept. 16thIt is my pleasure to inform you that SERVPRO of Eau Claire will be hosting our charity golf event on September 16th, 2022 at Lake Wissota Golf & Events. Last year was a HUGE success! We aim to make this year’s program considerably larger than last year. This year we are supporting the Bolton Refuge House, who provides invaluable services to victims of domestic violence and abuse. Bolton Refuge House has operated for over 45 years in our community, with most of their funding coming directly from generous donations. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the Bolton Refuge House so that they might continue to serve victims in our community. This program does fill up quickly, so if you would like to take advantage of the special ‘early bird’ pricing please contact me before July 1st, 2022. Attached is the full PDF flyer for the event which is complete with our cover letter, donation form and registration form. If you are unable to submit a monetary donation but would still like to help, we would greatly appreciate a raffle donation item. Last year the raffle alone generated a substantial amount of funds that contributed to our goal, we would love to see several more raffle items this year. All checks can be made payable to ‘Bolton Refuge House’ and returned with the attached form to 323 N. Dewey Street, Eau Claire, WI, 54703. Our website is also set up to take payments online: https://servpro-of-eau-claire-annual-charity-golf-outing-5639.perfectgolfevent.com/ Our Greatest asset in this community is each other, I sincerely hope that you might join me in providing support for the Bolton Refuge House. Please feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions.
