Dear Friends, The early church came together across previously unimaginable social and political boundaries in the name of Jesus for mutual support, encouragement, and to grow in the knowledge and love of God. We welcome you to attend our in person worship at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays. We sincerely hope that people will feel comfortable and safe returning to in-person worship. Even so, some will not feel safe or face a greater risk, and so we will provide a Zoom link and Facebook live stream to the in-person worship as a way of keeping our community together in worship. This has been a long journey that is not quite at its end, but I am hopeful, along with the Vestry, that we will be able to travel this last stage together with a renewed sense of hope and purpose in our mission to share the love of God with all the world. Receive him into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen. Rest eternal grant to him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. William "Bill" A. Stamm will alternate celebrating Eucharist at Noon on Wednesdays in the Chapel. Please enter through the Chapel door on Lake Street. **This will be the final Wednesday Eucharist service.** Receive the Sacrament by appointmentMany of our parishioners have not been able to access the Sacrament for over a year now. Our Deacons have proposed a system where individuals or couples or families could have a private communion by appointment. It would be an abbreviated service, about fifteen minutes, and you would receive the Sacrament in both forms. Please contact the church office if you are interested and we can get your appointment scheduled. Sunday Evening Prayer via ZoomContinuing this Sunday, at 6 p.m. CST, and for each Sunday until we can return to full attendance at our churches, The Ven. Jo Glasser and Dn. Marlene Hogue will be leading Evening Prayer. This service should last about 20 minutes and is intended to supplement, not replace, your Sunday morning time with your rector or priest in charge. Instead of the Sunday Lectionary readings, he will draw upon the daily office readings. In the Zoom system's video there is a chat button. This will give you the opportunity to ask questions about the Gospel or the sermon. You will need to have a Book of Common Prayer with you to follow the service. Kwik Trip Cards FundraiserWe are still partnering with Kwik Trip Fundraising Card Program! As of November 1st, the program is changing slightly. They are now offering a new Grocery Only/In-Store card that we purchase at a 15% base discount. This card can be used toward in-store products. Items not eligible to be purchased with the new card offering include fuel, tobacco, alcohol, gift cars, lottery/lotto, and stamps. This allows us to take advantage of the discount at the point of purchase instead of having to wait for a rebate on grocery items. Regular and Fuel-Only gift cards are still available. We purchase these at a 5% base discount. This is a great way to support the church while purchasing the gas and/or groceries you were going to buy anyway. These cards make great gifts for your friends & family, service providers or employees!
