Nursery Room Volunteers NeededWe are currently looking for volunteers to be on a monthly rotation as a childcare provider in our nursery room. We are committed to keeping everyone safe, particularly our children and youth. Please note: It is required that all persons working with children and youth in our diocese, whether paid or volunteer staff, have a background check, take the Safeguarding God's Children Training and have an up to date certificate (every 5 years). Please contact the church office if you would be willing to help provide childcare during the 9am service on Sundays. If enough people volunteer, the rotation schedule should be very workable. Sharing the Warmth ~ Veteran's Winter Needs DriveThe American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 53, Eau Claire, has sent out an urgent plea. There is a need for new or gently used, winter coats, gloves, hats, scarves & heavy socks for our homeless veterans, men & women, and those at risk of being homeless. If you have any of these items that you would be willing to donate, there will be a box set up in the elevator entryway for drop off. If you need someone to pick them up, please contact the church office. We all know the weather will be getting colder and we hope to have success in helping those who are in need. ~Mary Gadwill SAVE THE DATE •Mardi Gras Celebration - February 22Come join the fun with this festive Mardi Gras Celebration!
